Plenty of sail area make Comets exciting to sail – easily onto the plane when the wind picks up but with great light wind performance due to the light, easily driven hull.

If you are looking for a single handed boat capable of coping with all conditions look no further! Fast but forgiving, race it competitively or for fun – enjoyment is guaranteed.

The Comet is comfortable to sail with a roomy cockpit, quick and easy to rig up and is available with different sail types so that you can tailor the boat to the wind conditions or your own sailing preference. The Standard sail has plenty of sail area for light to medium winds and can be reefed for breezy conditions. The XTRA sail is a lighter, battened sail that is perfect in stronger winds.

A thriving fleet at SHSC and around the UK gives plenty of opportunities for class racing and friendly help from fellow Comet sailors.
