Huge thank you to all our Spring Social team
Firstly a huge thank you to Amy, Nigel and Di, Grahame, Tracey and Rachael who gave us all a superb Spring Social! The night was truly magical with The Great Adamos entertaining with table magic, and then going on to delight, amaze and amuse us with his post prize giving magic performance. Potentially the most fun moment on the night though has to have been George picking up his stunning trophy for most improved sailor through 2018. Such delight, not seen since Roberto Benigni picked up his Oscar brought a smile to everyone’s face! If you weren’t able to join us why not check out our Facebook page to enjoy a clip.
Awards, trophies and cups
RC sailing Simon Foskett and Commodore Howard Jones, had the pleasure of awarding the cups, trophies and glassware. We’ve included some shots of our winners (not all) below. Please note that we have not included shots of all our second and third placed sailors who were also recognised with awards.

Two additional trophies awarded
Two additional trophies were also awarded – the much coveted and rather spectacular ‘Most Improved Sailor’ trophy. This went to George Crammond, who has seen a lot of success through 2018 at the club. The trophy for ‘Youth Sailor Representing Staunton’ went to Peter Nugent . Peter, together with crew Charles Saunders has represented the club across the country through 2018.
Congratulations to all our sailors
Congratulations to each and every winner on the night. Just as importantly well done to every sailor who gets out there on the water! We are fortunate to have hugely talented sailors, who give back their time and talent to support sailors of all calibre within the club.
