Staunton tops the leader board!
After the first leg of the first Midlands Mini Series (Notts County Cooler) of the year, Staunton sits top of the leader board! With just the Ogston Woolley Jumper to go, we’re gearing up for a keenly contested final leg on 2nd and 3rd March here at Staunton Harold Sailing Club.
For sailors travelling to hosts of the second leg – Ogston Sailing Club on 23/24th Feb the club is close to the village of Clay Cross, just up the M1.
For the final we’ll be welcoming all the contestants to Staunton on 2/3rd March. Subject to conditions there will be five races over two days at each club. Racing will be handicap racing (PY 912/900 and above) average lap and a pursuit race. Both dinghies and windsurfers (raceboarders) are welcome at Staunton.
The briefing will be held at 10:45 a.m. on the Saturday 2nd March. Click here to download the NOR for the Staunton Blaster.
Note that all 2019 paid up members of the participating clubs will enjoy free entry to each event. All other travelling sailors and windsurfers (raceboarders) are welcome at £20 per event or £10 a day (Juniors 1/2 price).
