Winning form for Thomas Kelsall

Sunday 10th June saw Thomas Kelsall scoop a trio of trophies at the club’s Anniversary Cup – well done!  Thomas sailed into first place to win the Anniversary Cup in his Optimist with firsts for both race 1 and 2, and a discarded fourth in the third race. He also won the under 16’s trophy and the slow handicap trophy – wow!

Great sailing also from Rachael Rhodes and Amy Forbes (RS200) who took second place and top ladies boat, overall. Rachael and Amy had a third in the second race and a first in the third race.

Also to Tim Gray (Solo) who came third overall with second placed finishes in both the first and third races.

Mediterranean weather for racing

Well done to everyone who took part in what was fabulous sunshine – 22 degrees, but very patchy wind. 25 boats, across 16 different fleets.
