For a on-off fee you can have use of club hire boats at any time throughout the year subject to availability.
The Club will provide a wide range of dinghies to cater for adults, juniors, single or double-handers and high performance racing. The Club currently offers 4 Laser standard and radials, a Comet, 4 Picos, 4 Toppers, 2 Teras and 8 Optibats as single-handers plus 2 RS Visions, 2 RS Fevas and 4 high Performance 2000s as double-handers.

The on-off fee will vary depending on whether you want access to the full range of standard dinghies, or just junior boats or whether you want to include the high performance 2000s. The boats will be maintained by volunteers at the Club and once you have paid the one-off fee you will receive an access code to allow you to book a dinghy online at any time throughout the year. The only restriction will be availability for instance if you require an RS Vision on a Saturday morning when a training course is being run there may be none available.
The Club will make sure that the equipment is easy to put together, well maintaned and organised so that you can get sailing quickly but it is also your responsibility as the hirer to treat the kit with respect and make sure that it goes away as you wish to find it and that any damage is reported to boathire@shsc.org.uk
