Working party 2 - 02/02/2020 - Cleaning containers

Working Party this Sunday 9th January

Time to get ready for the 2022 sailing season!

It’s that time of year again when your club needs your help to carry out maintenance work around the club.
Your help is essential to the running of the club and joining us over the winter is a good way to spend an odd day or two supporting your club.
There are three main working parties scheduled winter, the first is this Sunday 9th January. We then have two more working parties scheduled on the 6th and 13th February respectively – please continue to check your emails for updates

A host of jobs!

So….we will be at the club from about 8.30am until about 3.00pm, and we have a big list of work that needs to be done, something for everyone to put their hand to.
This year’s list includes a whole host of things from clearing away the ashes from making new duck gates, to jet washing, to clearing around redundant boats to cleaning cobwebs away and many, many more jobs so something for everyone and every skill level – a full list has been sent by email.
As always there will be free food for all helpers.
Hope to see you there. Please sign on in the normal way via the digital sign on. In keeping with Government guidelines you might you like to consider taking a lateral flow test in advance – as many people are asymptomatic at the moment – thank you.

Your help is essential to the running of the club. You can see from the shots above that jobs are varied and range from the easy peasy, no experience required, to ones that need a bit of know how, so we can match your skills to the right job.

Thank you in advance for helping to get your club ready for the 2022 sailing season!
