RYA Junior Training Course JS C2 Stage 1/2

Our courses run for 8 to 16 year olds. These RYA courses are open to members and non-members alike and usually take place over 4 days, covering the Start Sailing Stages 1 and 2 syllabus.
Those aged 16 and over are welcome to join the adult courses.
Typically 12 juniors per course are taught in the club optimists and toppers – single handed boats that have proved popular for junior sailors.
Wet suits, buoyancy aids and spray tops are provided for the duration of the course.
The courses are great fun and once you have learnt the basis you can join lots of other Junior/Youth specific events where you can continue to improve your skills.
Junior Training Course Dates
In 2024 we hope to run a combined Stage 1 & Stage 2 junior training courses.
All of our Stage 1 and 2 courses are open to both members and non-members.
You should aim to attend all sessions during your course which will run over 4 days
Course JS C2  29th 30th 31st July and 1st August
