Which Course should I sign up for?

Level 0 SUP Intro
A 2-hour introductory session aimed at those who have never tried SUP before and want to give it a go. The focus of the session is on safety and fun. All equipment provided.
Level 1 Beginners
3 hours per lesson. Lessons aimed at novices that wish to take up SUP as a hobby. These lessons cover the key building blocks to allow you to develop as an independent stand-up paddler. Subjects covered include safety, equipment, environment, and fundamental paddling technique (how to do it; where to do it; what you need; and how to stay safe).
Level 2 Improvers
Lesson and course lengths vary. Lessons aimed at building skills based on the strong foundations laid down through our beginner sessions. We aim for our improvers to be able to go further, faster and for longer. As well as practising and developing existing techniques, we will introduce additional techniques to further expand your paddling ability.
Level 3 Intermediate
Lesson and course lengths vary. Intermediate paddlers will typically have sound paddling technique in a sheltered water environment. At level 3
we look at how to develop and hone your skills to extend your paddling into more challenging environments (e.g. wind, waves, flow). At this level we also look at building independence to be able to plan and undertake paddling trips further afield. At level 3 we also begin to introduce specialist subject areas such as racing; touring; tidal journeys.
Level 4 Advanced
Lesson and course lengths vary. At advanced level we continue the development of skills to paddle in more challenging environments. Knowledge and skills development is focussed on specialist areas such as racing, long distance touring and multi-day expeditions. Advanced level training also includes development of skills, knowledge and experience for those looking to take on coaching and leadership roles.

All our courses are delivered by highly experienced Paddle UK
coaches. Our modular lessons are structured to support Paddle UK stand-up paddleboard awards. We can provide a wide range of certificated Paddle UK awards including SUP Safer; Paddlesport Safety and Rescue; SUP sheltered water award; touring award; Paddlesport leader; SUP open water leader; SUP sheltered water coach; SUP open water coach.
