Something For Everyone

Sailing is available all year round with a comprehensive training programme. Great sailing for all the family. We have an active youth and junior fleet and a sailability opportunities. Our modern clubhouse and beautiful surroundings enhance our full social programme.

Our member-run club is friendly and fun for adults and children with something for everyone including competitive racing, social cruising, windsurfing, paddle-boarding, excellent RYA training courses, Sailability, land based supporter activities.

We have a modern and comfortable clubhouse with fully licenced bar. Sailing is available all year round with a comprehensive training programme. We also have an active youth and junior fleet and sailability opportunities combined with a full social programme. We have a growing Paddleboard section with qualified instructors, SUP hire and storage.

Currently the club has approximately 420 members, with ages from five to over 70 participating in very active racing and cruising sections. Racing takes place on Sundays, Saturdays and Wednesday evenings through the Spring, Summer and Autumn, and most Sundays during the Winter. Members can cruise any time so long as there is a safety boat on the water. Friday nights are reserved exclusively for social sailing (cruising) and training; our Friday Night Sessions. The club also holds open meetings annually for Fireballs, Miracles, Lasers, Solos, RS200s, Scorpions, GP14s, Europes, Aeros, Streakers, Comets, Juniors and more Our annual members fleet championship is great fun and highly competitive.

The club has a very active and enviable comprehensive training school with a good number of RYA trained instructors drawn from within the membership, supported by recognition as a British Youth Sailing Accredited Club. Sailing courses include RYA Levels 1 and 2 (both adult and youth) , refresher days, learning to race days, and 'taster' days for non members keen to give sailing a try. Powerboat courses include RYA Levels 1 and 2 certification, and safety boat certification.

Racing takes place on Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesday evenings (may vary in winter months)
