Staunton Harold Sailability Trust provides sailing and waterborne opportunities for disabled people throughout the county, affiliated to the RYA and we follow the pathway they have created.
SHST (Staunton Harold Sailability Trust) is a registered charity operating by agreement with Staunton Harold Sailing Club. It is run by Trustees that are drawn from the club, professionals outside the club and independent supporters.
We cater for children in the main with a range of disabilities both physical and mental, we work closely with them, professional organisations, other charities, parents, and carers. We also offer carers, parents, and siblings the opportunity to take to the water to see their children in action. Over the last year we have also introduced adults with disability to sailing. For those who are able SHSC now offer special annual sailability memberships for adults and children.
