Members' Forum - 16th March
A big thank you to everyone who joined us for yesterday's forum. Our Commodore, Elizabeth Simons, and Club Secretary, Nick Waters, shared the clubs strategy, future goals, and 10-year vision. It was 'Champagne Sailing' for our second Sunday of club racing/ SUP/ cruising at Staunton Harold Sailing Club!
Sunscreen, sunhats, sunglasses and smiles were all on show. The mercury hit 20 degrees, and the forecast was for a base wind of 9 knots with gusts of up to 13 knots. Day 2 of the Staunton Blaster
After the beautiful summer like conditions of day 1, the wind gods had definitely turned up for day 2. With the forecast of 40 knots in the afternoon the race team was hoping to get 2 races in before the weather hit.
