Easter Sunday Racing at Staunton Harold Sailing Club

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for yesterdays Easter Sunday Easter Egg Prize Racing!

Despite some challenging conditions, with steady winds of 1516 knots and gusts reaching up to 29, a few sailors and SUPers decided to stay ashore. But for those who took to the water, there were two fantastic races to enjoy!

Everyone did an incredible job. Even with a delayed start for the Scorp and a quick return to shore for Joe in his Europe to secure his main, the determination on display was brilliant. A special shoutout to Rachel in her Streaker, who delivered an outstanding performance, taking first place in both races.

All racers who stayed the course earned a very well-deserved prize. And well done to Terry, who swapped his Laser for a Wing Foil to make the most of those gusty conditions sorry we missed the photos on that one!

A special mention goes to Tim, who celebrated his birthday in the clubhouse with a fantastic cake,, and to all the families who helped make it such a fun and lively day onshore.
