RYA Event Women on the Water (Hosted by SHSC) - 7th March

We are proud to be hosting a Women on Water Female Participation Programme Development workshop on 7 March, delivered by the Royal Yachting Association.

This is an RYA event open to all sailing clubs looking to build on the positive, inclusive culture already present within their clubs and further encourage womens participation in sailing. This may include developing female instructors, supporting women into leadership roles, or increasing confidence and visibility on and off the water.

While the focus is on strengthening female participation, this session is very much for everyone.

Male participation is not just welcome, it is essential. Growing and sustaining inclusive club environments takes allies, advocates and leaders of all genders. If you are involved in instructing, club management, volunteering, or simply care about supporting wider participation within your club, this workshop is for you.

By hosting this event, we are pleased to bring clubs together to share ideas, learn from the RYA, and continue strengthening sailing communities across the region.
