A Huge Thank You to all of our members from Staunton Harold Sailing Club!

What a fantastic day we had last Sunday celebrating our 2025 Series Prize Giving!

We kicked things off with delicious 1975-style snacks and nibbles — a nostalgic nod to our 50th Anniversary year of celebrations!

Our RC Sailing Peter Gray joined by Rachael Gray as joint Masters of Ceremonies, did a brilliant job hosting the awards and presenting all the Cups, Shields, Plates, and prizes to our many talented sailors. With over 50 winners across more than 10 series, and up to 93 dinghies competing in any series, its been an incredible year of racing!

A special shoutout to Paul Munro, the first Staunton member to meet our Challenge of 50 times on the water / duties etc. in this our 50th year. Paul was presented with a limited edition commemorative 50th Anniversary SHSC keyring to mark the occasion! Congratulations to everyone else who has also completed the Challenge - we will be promoting further award events.

What a year its been! A huge thank you to everyone who has made this milestone year such a success — on and off the water, at home and while flying the Staunton flag across the country and beyond. Most of all, thank you to everyone who gets out there, rain or shine, making our racing series such great fun, full of energy, and fiercely competitive.

And were not done yet! Weve still got our Frostbite Series and the ever-popular Boxing Day Bash to round off our golden year.
