Thirty-six boats competed in this years Fireball Nationals at Looe Sailing Club, in wild conditions!

Staunton Results Highlights:

Tom Gillard (current World Champion and Staunton sailor), sailing with crew Shandy, took overall victory with an impressive four bullets and two second-place finishes.

Pete Gray & Rich Pepperdine finished 4th overall in the Gold Fleet.

Simon Forbes, crewing for Paul Cullen, claimed 8th.

Rounding out the top 10 , finishing in 9th overall and FIRST in the Silver Fleet was Tim Saunders, crewing for Joe Warwicker.
Great results from our sailors in challenging conditions, as they prepare for the Fireball World Championships at Lake Garda, Italy, in late August.
