In Memory of Alf Sharman

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Alf Sharman, a founding member and former Commodore of Staunton Harold Sailing Club.

An architect by profession, Alf designed the plans for our original clubhouse which officially opened on 1st June 1975, 50 years ago. His vision and dedication helped shape the foundation of the Club we know and love today.

Alf went on to serve as Commodore twice, from 197879 and 198283, contributing greatly to the development and spirit of the SHSC community.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Alfs family and friends at this difficult time. His legacy lives on in the club he was so instrumental in creating.
